Durante il panel di Gearbox al PAX East, Randy Pitchford, CEO della software house, ha rivelato che Borderlands 3 è un progetto che vedrà sicuramente la luce.
“Non è un segreto, ovviamente ci sarà un altro Borderlands” ha detto Pitchford, ma ha anche affermato che prima dovranno essere terminati i lavori su Battleborn. Non c’è la certezza che il terzo capitolo della serie si chiamerà Borderlands 3, ma il suo sviluppo è praticamente certo e Mikey Neumann ne scriverà la storia. Ah, ci sarà anche il figlio di Scooter, si chiamerà Scooper.
